David Burner

Professor (Ph.D., Columbia University, 1965)
Research Interests
I am finishing a history of West Point for Knopf that I began in the 1980s and dropped for several years out of a lack of interest. I am also coauthoring a social history of the U.S. with Patty Limerick, Phil Deloria, and, we hope, a wonderful colonialist woman. I've written the twentieth-century chapters.
